Meet Grayson Hunt

I'm a terrible blogger. I have really tried to keep up, but things have been so out of control busy...and blogging always falls to the backburner. I will do better....really!

Right now, I would like to introduce a very special little boy and his family!

Certainly you guys all know the precious little Leila from our sneak peaks?

She is one of my most photographed children, and I am very lucky to be able to call her and her parents family! Being married to a pretty nice (but highly accidentally anti-social) guy, and being a little (accidentally) anti-social myself, I never really expected many people from his family to take to me when I married him. For some reason, Leila's parents (Don and Erin) seem to like me. And I like them pretty dang well, too.

They (what SEEMS very recently) found out they were pregnant with her little brother!

But, I guess it wasn't very recent, because Grayson has arrived and right on schedule! A beautiful little package of gorgeous.

The arrival of new babies is supposed to be exciting, with happy visitors spoiling the baby's mom and squeezing the new baby and sniffing in all that good baby smell! But Grayson and his parents have had a rough go of it. Grayson was whisked to the NICU when he was born, even before his sweet momma got to lay eyes on him. He couldn't breathe on his own, and they found out he was born with blocked nasal passages. He was taken to Atlanta in his first few days of life and is scheduled to have surgery to hopefully correct his problem. This is where all if you come in. They need prayers, and they need them by the bucketfuls and need them now! Grayson's scheduled on Monday morning for his surgery, and the doctor is concerned that it may not take since he has such a tiny area to work with. If it doesn't work, he's going to have a very VERY hard first few years of life. I hope that you all will lift this family and this sweet baby up in your prayers!

Please share our blog post with your page, and I truly hope to have an update with happy news soon!

xoxoxoxo,

Aimee

  1. Aimee, I'm so sorry to hear about your family! We'll be keeping them all in our thoughts and prayer that surgery will help everything! Let me know if there is anything we can do to try and help.
